Default Are OEM Crossbars easily adjustable?

I have a 2004 Pilot EX. Wondering if the OEM crossbars are easily adustable? I think they look better than the aftermarket ones, but the aftermarket ones look easier to adjust, put on and take off. Plus, the aftermarket ones are way cheaper. Any insight? Thanks! I need crossbars to carry my Sears roof cargo 5-6 times a year.

There are even OEM "style" cross bars. Basically a knockoff of the OEM parts but about half the price. I think they sell for $65 on ebay. I cannot comment on the fit or adjustability though. I've been trying to get info on these for a while now.

I have started this thread about the ebay ones:
crossbars question - bars moving back and forth

I cannot make the bars stationary. After tightening up everything, I can still slide them back and forth.

I got the manual from the seller, but it does not help me, attached.

I dont know what to do...

true, they are cheap, but at this point i rather have spent more money and get OEM part...

islavov, I was thinking about buying those knock off ones you have, even from a purely aesthetic purpose are they not worth it?

I don't plan on really loading anything up on my pilot, but i did think about buying a set just for looks, are they sliding back and fourth while driving? or if i installed them and just left them alone would they stay in one place if i didn't touch them?
