2004 mode won't chg vent position
Display shows air direction but does not change. Seems to change at certain times if i push recirculate. Mode does change rear air direction.
Please help, can't change direction for defrost. |

took a while to figure out what you are talking about. When pressing the mode button you are not seeing any actual change in air direction from feet to windshield or face.
You'll have to tear into the dash to determine the cause of the problem. Suspect either a problem with the hvac control that your press, or a relay that controls the vents and air direction.
