Default Speaker Popping Sound

I recently experiencing weird noise with my 2008 PILOT I always hear speaker popping sound during starting and turning off the engine. The radio/cd/xm are all off...Anybody have this issue?

Yeah, my subwoofer pops once in a while when I turn on the car. Doesn't bother me.

faulty head unit if its from all speakers, faulty sub if its just from the sub.

I too had RES. The pop was pretty loud, but only at power on, I was adamant to the dealer about having a blown sub, and they said that the hiss/rattle sound I also heard from the back was the rear set belt retracted to the ceiling. Their fix, use the clip that was on the seat belt. Sound quality was terrible in that car, I just lived with it, I rarely drive more than 15 minutes at a time.

I have a 2008 EXL without RES and I too hear that electical surge popping noise when I shut off the vehicle.
