So I have a 2006 Honda Pilot. It has 120K miles.
When I came back from college to drive it, I noticed the engine light was on and the econ light would not activate when I drove it. I got it checked out 2 days ago at autozone and they said there is a miss fire in Cylinders 1-6. I believe that this was not the case. I drove it on the freeway and on main streets and it drove completely fine without any hesitation. Then I drove it yesterday, the engine light was off and the Eco Light came on. but when I drove it today and the same problem occurred. So I'm wondering if anyone expierenced this problem? Any solutions to fix this? My other assumption is that it might be the spark plugs being exposed by moisture. I don't know. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Assume you mean the check engine light.
How long has this Pilot been sitting without being driven? Intermittent faults are difficult to diagnose. Check the battery voltage static and with the engine running. Assume its not the original battery-if it is, replace it now. If that checks out ok, just drive it until a fault becomes permanent.
