We owned a 2003 Pilot bought new in Oct 2002. Were very happy with it, put on 208,000 miles and just replaced with used 2008 model with 45k on odometer. Was reading the scheduled maintanance and the manual says to replace timing belt at 60,000 miles. Our 2003 models book said to replace the timing belt at 105,000 miles. What's the deal?

Only if you drive in super hot or super cold conditions or tow a lot. The maintance minder is supposed to tell you, but I think it's still 105k for most people.

Thanks! I thought perhaps they changed the requirement. The maintanance minder is new to me. It also tells you when to change oil? Do people wait until the vescosity gets to that point, or just change it around 3k? If that minder really works, it could save a lot on oil changes. What do you think?

I wait, unless I need to get in there for something else. But I do the work myself. Our 04 pilot is at 104 right now, so I'm ready to get started. I'll be ordering the Gates brand kit with water pump. Everything in the kit is OEM except the water pump. Gates/Unitta makes Hondas timing belts, and their TCKWP kit includes the OEM/Koyo pullies and hydraulic tensioner. Only $140 for the 04. I think it's $160-180 for the 05+. RockAuto.com has the kits for the cheapest.
