Our sunroof has been tilted open for a while now, it wasn't a big deal during the summer but I went to the dealership the other day and they wanted $300 just to close it(not even to fix it). I think the motor is bad because it clicks when I hit any of the buttons.
Anyway, is there a way to manually close the sunroof? Thanks!! Last edited by The Godfather; 12-10-2011 at 12:52 AM. |

The repair manual for my MDX talks about using a moonroof wrench to manually operate it. I'm guessing it is an allen or torx wrench that you insert through a plug like this (from an odyssey) https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...606O00380A.pdf
Do you have a removable plug in the headliner? Might be a moonroof wrench back by the lugnut wrench. something like this: Last edited by carguy07; 12-10-2011 at 03:11 AM. |
