I want to hard wire my Valentine one radar detector but haven't been able to locate a switched fuze. Any ideas? While I had the blower motor out (mice clogged the fan cage up solid) I went through every fuse on the passengers side fuse box and didn't find one that was switched by the ingition.

This is on an MDX but I bet it is very similar to your Pilot. Took me about 10 minutes to hook mine up on my 06 MDX. There was even enough room to put the V1 power adapter, fuse and all of the extra cord that comes with it. Hopefully you have the harness up there even if you don't have the dimming mirror.

Thanks for the advise and some great "How To" pics. My pilot has a standard mechanical rear view mirror, no help there. The overhead console has 2 push to turn on/off lights and the garage door opener buttons. Over the week end I'll take a look at the overhead console area and see if that is an option. I also just ordered a factory service manual that will hopefully help in the future.
Thanks. |

I think the harness is still up there, just need to figure out the color codes.
