Default Headlight Bulb Replacement

Passenger side low beam is burnt out so is the parking light (2nd time in 1 year) on the driver side. Any suggestion of replacement bulb(s) brands and where to buy? Was thinking it might be the time to install HID kit

For halogen headlight bulbs, best tradeoff between output and life is either Philips VisionPlus or Sylvania XtraVision.

Low battery voltage can shorten bulb life.
Do you still have the original battery in your 2007?

Actually, yes I still have the original battery...would you suggest getting a new one? There are a few interior LED lights have died out as well.
I will look into the light-bulbs; thanks for the suggestion!

Your original battery is approaching five years old, so you ought to have it tested.
Many auto parts stores will test it for free - have it checked when you go to get
new headlight bulbs.

Yes you should really have your car battery checked, as am I today since I can feel starting hesitation with my 2006 pilot battery .

If you want to replace just the one bulb then get a sylvania/osram whatever at the store. Otherwise I personally would recommend hid upgrade.

I'm going to get the battery checked this weekend.
What HID is highly recommended? Easy install? Link? I need something reliable as I drive a lot at night. I know there are multiple threads bout HID kits, but a quick "this brand seems to be the best" and a link where to buy will work well for me!

All my cars have those Ebay HID kits in them, so far, the only issue I have with them is the bulbs giving out (~6 months). But regardless, the replacement bulbs are cheap ~$12 and they make a hell of a difference at night compare to regular Halogens.

What type of hid kit? I've learned from the 4-5 sets (from my brother) and 1 from mine that the price almost does not matter. He's bought cheapo $50 kits up to $150+ kits that are supposed to be more reputable. In the 3 years I've had my own $99 kit one ballast has gone bad. Luckily my brother had spare slim ballasts which I replaced.

Only suggestion I can give is stick to 4300k (original hid color) or 5000k. I personally have 6000k and while it's nice it's a bit bluer then I'd like. But as said replacement bulbs for this thing is so cheap that you'd be stupid not to do it, and yes the light output difference is very obvious.

edit: you know xGS is correct, OP did not mention what year car he owns. If you own those halogen headlights then you really shouldn't install these kits.

That 5 year old battery is ready to go. Best do it now before you end up on the side of the road.....waiting for a tow truck

I had a battery in my Chevy three quarter ton that lasted 14 years. It sure didn't look very pretty at the end but I had zero problems with it. Newer batteries don't seem to last half that long.
