Default just bought 2003 honda pilot

hey im new here just officialy got a 03 pilot thats been in my family sence new it does have little over 180,000 miles but she is still running strong hopefully it stays that way for a little while it is mainly a daily driver but occassionaly tows a double jetski trailer or my sport bike and when trail days go bad ive towed my jeep with it for short distances and it does suprisingly well for towing a 4500lb sail. now before i get any thing about it i know its over the wait limit my main dislikes are the rear suspension is way to soft for towing even just the bike so im planning on getting the airbags for the rear and maybe some slightly larger tires and brushgard and roof basket. Does anybody have anyother ideas to make this a little more capable/non-family oreinted vehicle i know thats kinda hard sence it is a midsize people hauler type suv but would like a little more of a look that a single 24 yearold guy would have thanks for any advice you have and look foward to learning more about this vehicle

Welcome I certainly hope you have a transmission and power steering cooler installed. The Pilot definitely needs them to survive the towing you are putting it through.
You are already on the right path if you want to give the Pilot a more youthful look. Recently someone posted pictures of a 2 inch lift on their ride and a few additional extras.
I'd highly recommend KYB suspension components all the way around for a slightly firmer ride than stock. Along with a couple of extra psi increase in tire pressure.

Lastly but not least. Grab a cup of coffee take your time and peruse our forum, you'll be blown away from the tips here.

The MDX braces are on my short list of items to buy. I'm actually scary identical to your situation.

I've added OEM fogs, OEM side rails, beefier tires and have been chipping away at maintenance items first. I've got my eyes set on a rooftop cargo box and some other performance items to help give the Pilot a bit of a boost

Tons of information available on here, for new (old stock) OEM parts I'd recommend scouring eBay and handa-accessories.com.

maybe your suspension just needs to be replaced. I've towed double skis and it felt like nothing.
