Hello fewllow Piloteer,
I am new not only here to the forun but to owning a Pilot. I recently purchased a 2006 Pilot wiith only 27,000+ miles on it very well maintained. But it has the cheap wheels on it that I hate. I want to upgrade to the alloy wheels that look alot better, so I was wondering if this would be a good deal? 03-08 Honda Pilot OEM 16" Alloy Wheels Machined face w/ Grey Slots *set of 4* | eBay How much would be a good amount to bidfor these? I know that at the dealer they wanted $227.00 for just one wheel! I thought that was crazy! so I think that the $300 buy it now would be a good deal? Thanks for your imput! |

How is it that this particular auction item is described as "no reserve", yet there is a starting (minimum) bid shown? Doesn't no reserve imply no minimum bid? |

A reserve price is a price set by the seller at which he is willing to sell the item. For example, if I have a a pair of sneakers that I want to sell and I set the auction with a reserve price at $50. I start the auction and the bidding only goes to $40 at auction's end. I am not obligated to sell the shoes to the winning bidder because it did not meet my reserve which I set at $50. On the other hand, if the bidding went to $55, let's say, then I am obliged to sell the shoes to the winner at $55, because it surpassed the reserve price I set at $50.
A reserve price has nothing to do with a starting minimum bid. The seller can start the auction at whatever price he wishes from $0 on up. |

Isn't that effectively the same as having a reserve price of $175? No reserve usually means no minimum (bid) price. |
