Default Transmission oil Pan: Drop it or not for regular maintenance

I have 2008 pilot with 70K on it. I have changed automatic transmission fluid as recommended. I had an Old Volvo 240 earlier and it was a common opinion that transmission pan should be dropped to clean it for all the gunk.
What are the options for Pilot? Is it a common maintenance item.
Another question is if there is a transmission fluid filter which needs maintenance.

Regards,

Not really necessary on such a new vehicle. But I was also told that every few years you should drop it to clean out the gunk and what not.

I believe the filter is not easily accessible and so it's not a service item.
