Default 2005 Pilot electrical issues

I'm new to the site,it seems very good, thank you to the people that run it. I have an 05 pilot exl without navigation. It has been very dependable throughout its 130k mile lifespan. About 2 years ago the lights on the buttons on the dash started going out and stayed out. Then last year the left front interior light went out. About 2 months ago the same light and all of the other interior lights came on and stayed on for hours until I banged on the one that was out before. I didn't think much about it being odd until a week ago when my srs light came on out of the blue and came on everytime I ran the car until yesterday. It hasn't come on since. Today my wife experienced a new and terrifying problem. While merging onto our local highway, the traction control/abs locked up and stopped the car dead on the on ramp. It finally stopped raining here, so the road is dry and there was nothing sandy/slippery on the surface. Also she was firmly on the gas, nowhere near the brake pedal. Sorry for the dissertation, I thought a little background might help. Thank you for your time and help. Brandt

How long (years, not miles) has your battery been in use? A weak battery plays havoc with the Pilot.

Thank you for your reply. I saw a few posts about other electrical issues and many said the battery could have been the problem. My battery was replaced in 2009, in my opinion way too early, I made sure the terminals were secure and clean when i changed the timing belt this last spring. I'll check them and check the battery with my load tester when I get home.

I will also check ground connection #302 when I get home and report my findings. Thank you both.

Seems that having almost a gallon of water trapped undetected under your carpets, floor mats and insulation may have an effect. It has been an exceptionally rainy month with about 12-14" from the last 2 tropical storms here. I can only assume the sunroof drains leaked or the replacement windshield was not installed correctly. I hope this was the problem and not another event in the saga. Thanks for the advice and I'll reply if it is not the cause. Brandt

Sorry to reopen this old thread, but I have the VSA problem on my 05 EXL. I want to try this method to see if the problem will go away. Can someone take a picture to show me where I can find ground connection #302. Thanks,

I found this page in my 2005 Honda service manual. Any one has any idea about the G320 (location) described in the attached page.
