Default Towing

I have a 2008 Honda Pilot that I tow a R-Vision Trail Cruiser. It is an eight foot wide model. I have tried using the mirrors that are plastic and strapped onto the existing mirrors. However, I do not get the rearview vision I need to see if there is a vehicle behind me, I have to wait till there is a left hand curve in the road to see what is behind me. Has anyone run into this? And what suggestions could I try?

If this is the kind of thing you've tried....I'm stumped!

I use these mirrors. They are a little small but work.

Search the Internet, you can get MUCH better prices.

I put a wireless backup camera on the back of my trailer to use as a rear-view mirror.
The signal is marginal so you have to be careful mounting the transmitter and receiver.

You have to mount it high enough to get it out of the shine of the headlights behind you.

Get one that does not use the license plate frame.

The lens is a bit too wide-angle so things are very small, it is a good aid, but ABSOLUTELY will not replace good side mirrors.
