Just purchased a 07 EX-L and there are two different sizes of lug nuts on the wheels. They are not the star theft deterrent kind - just different lengths. (see photo) Is the correct one short or long? Would like them all to be the same - not taking chances on lug nuts and wheels falling off.

The taper is completely different as well.
I suspect you need the shorter one.

This is the OEM part number and description (manufacturer). If there is anything on the lug nuts to help describe them. BTW: These cost $2.60 each at online dealers like HondaPartsNow.com and G1Parts.com (free shipping over $20). http://www.g1parts.com/SearchResults...=90381-S87-A01
http://www.hondapartsnow.com/Page_Pr...el%20Disk%20(1) 90381-S87-A01 NUT, WHEEL (SATO RASHI) The seats are a ball type, so they will hold fine. As long as the stud doesn't bottom out inside the threaded hole before the nut hits the seat, you'll be fine. For a test you can put 5 short nuts on one wheel. If the wheel doesn't wobble once torqued down, your good to go. |
