Hi,
I have a 2008 pilot and my dome lights are not working when the doors open. My front dome lights turn on if you push them but not when the door opens. My rears don't work at all. I am wanting to put in new bulbs in the rear to see if the bulbs are just burnt out. Does anyone know how to take the covers off, there are no screws or slots to pry the covers off. I have checked fuses and they all check out just fine. My only other option is to pay the dealer $45 to diagnose this issue. Fyi I am just out of warranty. |

Found this:Dome Light Cover removal
The video below shows removal of the dome plastic and should apply to the rest. Hope you don't have a problem removing the bulbs.

2008 shouldn't have all the bulbs burnt out. Did you check the position of the switch? You can set it to 3 different positions.....Off, On, and On when the door opens. I think you may just have the switch in the "off" position.
