Default VSA Issues on '06 EXL

Last summer, our VSA light would come on randomly while driving on flat, dry pavement. The dealer said it was an ABS brake sensor on a rear wheel. They replaced it, but the problem was still there. Brought it back and they replaced the yaw sensor. The problem went away for 6 months, but now it has resurfaced again.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Anyone heard that it is a recurring problem?
Thanks.

Hello blu_twstd_steel, I also have the VSA issue on my 05 EXL after 89000 miles. Any updates in your case?

My VSA light has started to come on now. Goes off when I turn off the ignition and re-start. Any specific causes? Sounds like some of the dealers are just taking guesses.

That VSA light is somehow tied into the brakes. Still trying to figure out how. I bled the brakes and left the level a bit too low. The "BRAKE" light came on. Knowing it was just the float in the top of the fluid cap, I kinda took my time getting to the store to restock. VSA came on and stayed on even *AFTER* topping up the fluid and resetting the computer

Had to take it to the dealer to reset the light. The computer got the best of me

The VSA is tied to the brakes in that it can make them activate to help stability just as it can cut the engine.

There are many further incidents that are being reports to NTHSA.

I had the yaw sensor replaced by the dealer in last April, 2012. The light did not come on again. I wrote a complaint letter to Honda customer service center. They mailed me a check of about $450 to cover half of the total cost. I have 2005 EXL.

It seems the yaw sensor solves it for some but not all. It is hard to tell with the extra cold weather but I've noticed some hard starting, maybe the battery is on last legs. Some have said a poor battery causes issues.
