Default injectors...

I realize that the intake on the pilot is an art of minds, but what if you boosted the amount of fuel by bigger PSI injectors? Would the computer compensate and throw more air at it giving more horsepower without really affecting anything honda has made? I'm not trying to start an argument, just curious. Like with a carb motor when you have a 2 barrel and you upgrade to a 4 barrel, oh the difference. Any thoughts??

There's really no way for the computer to "throw more air at it". What would happen with bigger injectors is that the computer, to maintain the same A/F ratio, would pulse them less often and/or for shorter durations, so essentially nothing would change.

Without other mods, a stock Pilot is probably not limited by the size of its injectors. The stock ECU does maintain very lean fuel air mixtures for emissions reasons, so if you don't care about emissions, you might gain some power by running a little richer, but you don't need new injectors to do this - the common ways are to remap the ECU or fool the ECU into running richer by fooling with the sensor inputs (e.g., the ambient air temp or pressures sensors).

The 2b vs. 4b carb analogy is different - here you're actually making the engine breath better. Injectors have nothing to do with engine breathing.

alrighty then... I'm glad that was cleared up. My friend had a grand prix GTP and he up'd the injector size and gained I think 7hp. Not much but he is also ramming air into the intake. Thanks!

You would need to reprogram the computer to take advantage of bigger injectors and even then, that change alone would not increase power. Engine works as a system and everything would need to be modified to work together and take advantage of increased injector capacity. I doubt that you would even need larger injectors on a Pilot. The stock injectors likely have lots of reserve capacity built into them. Adding a 4 barrel to an old engine does not actually increase power, it actually merely increases power range. A 2 barrel craps out at lower rpm while the additional 2 barrels of the 4 barrel carb allows the engine to breath at higher rpms only. The additional 2 barrels don't even open on a 4 barrel until you are into the upper rpm range of the engine. On the street, the second set of butterflies/venturi usually never even open.
