Find someone who either makes a turbocharger or a supercharger for the Pilot.

Why?

HP is not HP. What do you intend to do with the 40 HP?

I'm sorry if you were not able to read the words I wrote and extract a question or two.

Question 1) Why the figure 40 HP.
Question 2) What drove you to decide that 40 HP would provide the results you were looking for,
Question 3) what were the results you were looking for.

The order is a bit irrelevant.

An increase of peak HP is very different than a flattening of the torque curve providing an additional 40 HP at some particular speed or range (which may not provide any increase in peak HP.

Does that help?

It seems the only "useless reply" was yours!

once again, more cr*p! it is obvious the only reason you post your useless "rants" is to fulfill a meaningless goal of being the forums top poster.

First, I have asked (I think on this forum, but certainly on several others) that the count system be optional.

I don't give a Sh!t about post counts.

Second, it seems you feel somehow threatened by some very clear questions.

My guess is you have no real answer.

So very clearly once again, more cr*p! it is obvious the only reason you post your useless "rants" is to fulfill a meaningless goal of being the forums top poster, since I clarified what I wrote, you you repeated with no clarification.(thereby increasing your post count without moving the thread forward at all.

Default ok I gotta get in on this !!!

Yeah I wanted to increase my post count so here I am baby !!!

Ok so why did you want to increase by 40 H.P. ?? I guess that part is really none of my buisness as you just asked how to do it not stating why you wanted to do it.
Although I do wonder exactly what 40 more ponies would do for the family truckster....I know I can't go any faster as I believe the Pilot is goverened. I don't have a hitch so I can't speak on that. I am really more interested in my car stereo and that doesn't have anything to do with H.P.

I have no clue but my post count is up by one !!!!

More air in, more air out. You can fab up some cold air intake (that takes from outside of the engine bay) and then open up the exhaust with a bit bigger piping and a higher flow exhaust. Then you'll want to get the engine tuned so that the computer can better use it's newly increased airflow to free up more horsepower.

I don't really care about why you want to know, or how you came up with 40 for your number. The way I see forums is to gain and share information, not to chap people's a$s when they ask questions.

But what do I know, I'm just a newb...

And you yet again have increased your post count without adding to discussion.

Hmmm, go figger?

I am sure that anyone who could provide you an answer would need this information to make it a meaningful answer.

Question 1) Why the figure 40 HP.
Question 2) What drove you to decide that 40 HP would provide the results you were looking for,
Question 3) what were the results you were looking for.

You were looking for a meaningful answer and not just building your post count, right?

More air in and more fuel in will do it.

Especially if you are looking for an extra 40 HP on the dyno for bragging rights.

Or maybe you are towing and you want 40 more HP in the lower RPM range, then we have a very different issue.

How many posts does it take to the center of your question?
One . . .
. . .Two. . . .

. . . . . . Crunch!!! The world may never know.

Hey Jim,
Since you don't seem to be getting the answer you want, have you (just maybe) considered that your question is laking details.

Of course maybe you are satisfied with a non-answer.

Or maybe (just maybe) all your push-back to having any real discussion on the topic is because you don't have the detail and feel intimidated by the questions? (not to overly psychoanalyze the situation?)
