Gas Milage Improvement
I just like to share an observation I recently had with my 05 EX.
I changed my tires to Michelin LTX MS in mid Oct. last year and I got about 19.5 to 20 miles/gal since then. I used to get 21.5 to 22 miles/gal for my daily driving.
Last month, I accidentally reset the ECM with my OBDII scanner (by pressing Erase button) when I was doing an inspection readiness check (although there was no code at all). Right after that, I am getting 21 to 21.5 miles/gal for straight three tanks (I am in fourth tank now). It's 1.5 to 2 miles/gal improvement.
I don't know what's the mechanism there. Just an observation. For those getting low gas mileage members, this may be worth a try.
