Very nice chart.

How did you come up with it?

I have been inputting the data for our Pilot on Fuel Economy dot org since new.
Is there a way to convert it to the graph similar to yours?

Head on over to ecomodder.com. Here's my fuel log for the past couple of months or so.

The chart comes from a pivot table in excel.

Nice graph. Thank you for updating it.
Please help me to understand it. Each data point represents calculated MPG per fill. Am I right?
What I like about it is that it really summarize the entire fuel economy discussion on this forum. The variability tells the story. Usually there are two groups. Unhappy group with low MPG and more satisfied one with higher MPG numbers. Looking at your graph one can say: look - one person in one car can get lower than 12 on one tank and higher then 22 on another. It all depends on how you drive, temperature, wind, terrain, distances, habits like warming the engine, etc, etc.

Humanoid - I am getting exactly the same lifetime MPG as yours.

Yes, the chart is based on the mpg calculated after every fill up.

Here's a chart of my 2006 Pilot (4wd) mileage for the past 14 or 15 months. Mostly around town driving except for a few spikes indicating a road trip. Click the pic to make it bigger.

Default Update to 2007 Pilot MPG data

Here's the latest MPG chart for my 2007 pilot.

This chart is a little different from previous charts I posted ... it's an average of monthly MPG results.

Enjoy
