Greetings,
How much weight can you safely tow with a 2008 4WD Pilot that has the factory hitch of course, but no coolers? I have a small, 13' Boston Whaler that weighs less than 1K pounds, including the trailer, and the tongue weight can't be but 100 pounds... Thanks! |

Honda does not specify towing capabilities / limitations without coolers; therefore it is generally interpreted that towing without coolers is not recommend. However, I can see no reason why you can't tow up to the (GVWR)-(curb_weight)=cargo_weight_capacity=~1500lb. You should be ok (as long as you follow the passenger loading restrictions on the towing page in the manual).
