well ill start off by saying hi. Im a new pilot owner. Moved over from my 2004 Accord V6 6-speed (i like the snow too much for it) and ive been lurking here for a while trying to pull my self away from V6p.net (my second home) and i miss my performance a little, but not much. And so after doing some searching and some research I have come to a question of if there is any exhaust system that fits the pilot. I know there isn't a direct bolt on system for the pilot but I found this.
Ridgeline Exhaust Pilot Exhaust ![]() now I had a custom borla setup on my accord and know that with work anything can be done, but I didn't know if anyone had tried this or not to see if the Ridgeline's exhaust system is easily modified to fit the pilot or would we be better off going completely custom bend and fitted from the cat back. Reason I'm asking is magnaflow has a great sounding catback for the ridgeline and I would be willing to do minimal work to get it on there for a better looking tip and better sound/perfromance. |

It definately wouldn't be bolt-on, which is the biggest benefit for buying a catback system over a custom built. I'd say take it to a good muffler shop near you and tell them what you want. You'll prolly end up saving money and you'll have a better fitting system.
Either way, make sure you let the rest of us know...my wife would KILL me if I put an exhaust on her car, but that doesn't mean I can't smile while I think about it

no i'm not really looking for a noisier exhuast..just a better tone (the 3.5l with a good exhaust can sound awesome, not too loud or dumb sounding) and it will give the nice look of a better tip. I am wanting to do the Escalade style exhaust with the wider oval tip that comes out behind the right back wheel/tire instead of the funky ugly muffler/tips it has now. I'm used to my stainless steel custom borla setup with my bright tips and can't handle that dull dingy muffler and tips

How about the dual muffler MDX setup? I would guess that the MDX floorpan is closer to the Pilot's than the truck's would be.
BTW, where did you get the assembly pics? Rich Quote:
