Default Gas mileage

What kind of gas mileage is everyone seeing? Granted, our Pilot is still fairly new (only 800 miles), and we've only had a couple of fill-ups, but with mostly just city driving we're seeing about 16 MPG.

Does that sound about normal?

Yup, that's about right. Look for it to improve slightly as the engine breaks in. You should see between 14-17MPG when you're driving in stop n' go traffic. Highway will range between 18-24MPG.

We're getting about 14-15MPG in mostly street driving. Getting 16 MPG is pretty good IMO!

I just got my 06 Pilot with Nav. Nighthawk Black 2wd last week Nov. 113th. I already got 1000 miles on it. I drove off the lot with 14. Anyway. My first fill up was 19.25 mpg the second was 18.75 and the third was 20.67. I was hopping to get around 19-20 with my 75% freeway 25 City. Not to bad. I am happy thus far. I set the cruise at 75 and let the VCM take over.

I think we're getting 18-19 normally. But coming back from our Thanksgiving trip we got 23 on one particular tank.

We typically get 18 to 19 commuting, about 20 mpg mixed with some hwy, and have had as high as 24 mpg on trips with all highway. On trips cruise at about 70, on commute stick to 65 mph.

My gas mileage is getting worse. I started getting 18 and now I'm at 16 with 50/50 driving. Seems like the colder it gets the worst the gas mileage gets. '06 Pilot EX with about 1400 miles on it.

Winter gas and cold weather both kill gas mileage.
