Hi Everyone, I am going to be a first time Honda owner by next week and I am also new to this site.
I want to thank you all for teaching me a lot about his vehicle. One questions: Can the pilot go on the beach? I understand from all the post I have read that the stock tires stink .. but I'm hearing a lot about the Mich. CT .... so with "good" tires ... Would you all be confident taking one on the beach without getting stuck in the sand. Thanks, Amos |

I drove my Pilot on the deep, sandy beach on Cape Hatteras Island near the light house.
I have the Goodyear Integrity's, they performed just fine. As with any tire, you'll need to deflate your tires to around 20psi to get the traction needed in the sand. Remember to re-inflate them before you hit the highway. Our beach forum & photos are here: Have you taken your Pilot to the beach?
