Default Deals on Michelin Cross Terrains

Michelin Cross Terrains are the best tires I have ever owned. At almost 80,000 miles it's time for a new set on my 2005 Pilot. But you get what you pay for... The best price I could get on P235/70R16 was: $165.57 Michelin Cross Terrain SUV Tires 79176 P235/70R16 ORWL 420 A B | TireCrawler.com Has anyone used this company tirecrawler? Or found a better deal on these? Thanks for any info...

If you liked the Cross Terrains (which are mediocre in snow), you'll love the LTX M/S2's which are rated better in every category by owners and about the same price you found for the CTs. Tirerack LTX Tirerack Survey

Yes I've read about the LTX, I may give them a shot quite a bit cheaper. But tire rack is more expensive that other outlets, like tire crawler. Anyone here ever use them? Michelin LTX M/S 2 Tires 07253 P235/70R16 WHT LTR 720 A A | TireCrawler.com

Just put some brand new LTX ms2's on my '04 with 163k miles on her and...wow! I dont think it rode this smooth and quiet when it was brand new! I bought them at America's Tire for about $740 OTD. They matched Costco's $70 off Michelin instant rebate. I chose America's instead of just getting them at Costco because they use the Hunter GSP 9700 wheel balancer which apparently is the best out there.

Did you check out shipping costs? For my location, tirecrawler is twice the shipping cost of tire rack. The end result is that tire rack is a total of $19 more expensive after shipping. Not that much more for a "known" vendor (tire rack) versus an "unknown" vendor (tirecrawler).

If you don't mind the wait or S&H delays, Discount Wheels, Tires, Rims, Custom Wheels, Chrome Rims, Car & Truck Rims has some of the best pricing on Michelins shipped. Honestly, I ended up canceling my order due to time constraints. Good luck!

So which tires did you get and where? I too am looking and am leaning towards the LTX M/S2. Reviews seem great....

They are a good tire. CTs are not as good.
