Winter tire help - Honda Pilot

I live in Southern California and make a few trips to Colorado during the winter. I have an 09 pilot 4wd and am trying to make sense of which tire to put on my rig. I dont want to do the dedicated tire but want to keep my family safe on the road while making the trips. We dont usually use chains and dont plan to. Any advice would help-

So no dedicated snow tire no chains.
That leaves all season tires on the table. Which you probably already have.

Most all season tires are indeed 3 season tires, but they should work well in the places like California. Some all season tires like Nokian brand SUV tires (Nokian WRG2 SUV) have year round performance but also can serve as great winter tires.

For your options, other than Nokian WRG2 SUV, other best all season SUV tires in snow are Goodyear Fortera Triple tread and Bridgstone Dueler HL Alenza:

I know, I know.

The new site won't allow me to fix format of my old signature. With more than 40+ accessories in my signature, it was hard to trim, every time I tried to edit it, I got error messages... Will try one more time...

FWIW...Cut sig., paste sig. text elsewhere in a .doc file and edit. Delete old sig. Paste revised sig. back into signature block and edit with forum font tools if needed.

Well, I know my previous signature was an eyesore which I did not know how to fix. And I don't think everybody will be interested in my outrageously long list of accessories, so I just trimmed them down now and include an external link for those who might be interested in the links related to these accessories...
