Default Is anyone running 17x8, 18x8 +48?

Interested in knowing if anyone is running 17x8 or 18x8 wheels with a +48 offset. If so, have you had any rubbing issues?

Thanks in advance...

You don't say which generation Pilot, but I suggest you do a search for Acura TL wheels and similar on this site.

You'll find many 17 and 18 inch wheels used with many different tires.

Sorry, it is in reference to a 1st gen.

Yes, there are many different wheels posted on this site, but I haven't found a single post where someone has listed a +48 or higher offset.

8.5 will put the inside of the rim 15mm closer to the strut and the outside edge 35mm further out than the stock wheel.

One inch is 25.4mm. So the inside is 6/10ths of an inch closer (tires sidewall will make it closer still) 35mm= 1 4/10ths of an inch further out (again the sidewall the tire makes it further out.

Tirerack lists these rims as fitments with certain select tires.

Smile Wheel 18x7.5 with 45mm offset, tire 255/55-18

I put 18x7.5 with 45mm offset. Not exactly what you are looking at but maybe close enough to be of interest. I am using 255/55-18. No rubbing problems at all, nor do the the tires visually stick out from the body. The wheels are from an Acura RDX. I could not be happier with the set-up. Substantial improvement in handling. Virtually puts the handling in a different category. I will make a post with pictures at some later time.
