Default Contenential ExtremeWinterContact w/GX1

Continental ExtremeWinterContact with Granite Alloy GX1 from Tire Rack - can't wait to put these babies on!

About $1300 with TPM, Tire Tote and shipping.

First time in history I've been excited for Iowa snow.

Hi, I posted a question about TPM and got no answer (maybe because it's a dumb question) so here it is again: you buy those wheels with their TPMS sensors. How do you pair them to the car. I'm told by Honda that only them can do it @ $105 each time. Is that what you're planning to do?

Current TPMS don't need to be paired. They do it automatically.

Thank you! I guess that I'm going to add the sensors to my Tirerack order!

Tires, installed. Steering wheel has decent vibration at speeds above 45 mph. I'm guessing the balance job done @ Tirerack was poor. Taking it to Honda this week to have it looked at.

you know snow tires always have high road noise and usually a decent vibration at high speed right ?

I figured this was the case however its REALLY shaking the steering wheel pretty bad - much like when tires are out of balance. How concerned should I be I guess?

Make sure your Honda stealership specs the center ring and locator pin. That was my issue today. Local dealer illustrated the minute distance between rim and hub and stated "nothing could be done" when in fact the locator pin wasnt installed/clipped. Lots-o-steering vibration until fixed.
