Default Anyone put 17" Acura TSX wheels on a Pilot?

I believe the bolt patterns to be the same at 5x115; 5 lug. The only difference I see is a larger width at 7" for the TSX and 6.5" for the Pilot. Anyone know if these would rub or have any adverse affects? Any pics?

I am not sure what year TSX rims but I have a friend that put some on his Odyssey with some low profile tires.

Looks pretty clean.

I'll see if I can snap some pics. Never seen any on a Pilot though.

For the 2009 and up use rims with 120mm stud spacing. Ody(current generation only), Ridgeline (all), TL (2009 and up), MDX (current generation)

For First gen Pilot, RDX (all), MDX (no later than 2007), TL (no later than 2008), TSX (all)

That covers most bases.

So are you saying any factory rim from any year TSX will properly fit 1st gen Pilots?

Yes any year. Accord too.

FWIW, technically its 114.3mm. Tirerack is also a good source of wheel data. Don't worry about the 6.5-7 difference.

Here are the first gen TL wheels on a pilot.

Pics of TL Wheels installed and load rating tested

Bolt patter is one thing, so is size, but don't forget about off-set. I forget the off-set of the TSX rims (have have 2 sets for my 04 TSX).

Man, if you could confirm the year and model those wheels are from that would be awesome. I remember seeing those on an Acura, but I can't remember the exact model either. They would be killer on the Pilot.

Those wheels on the Odyssey are the Acura TL SH-AWD wheels, FACTORY PART# 42700-TK5-A01. They are 18" x 8" in 5x114.3 so they will fit the Pilot:

2009-2010 ACURA TL 18 X 8 OEM/FACTORY ALUMINUM WHEEL: eBay Motors (item 160493052019 end time Nov-12-10 0520 PST)

Just need to get the weight per wheel and pricing from Tim.

Bad news, the eBay seller told me the wheels were 33 pounds a piece. With a 34-36 pound tire, that adds 14-19 pounds more sprung weight per corner than the stock 16" wheels and OE tires.

Tim got back to me. The TL SH-AWD wheels may not be dead yet. His catalog shows the wheels weighing 16.37 pounds each. That's lighter than the Mugen forged NSX wheels, so I've asked Tim to clarify or find somebody with the wheels and have them weigh their tire and wheel combo so we can subtract the tire weight to confirm...

If they do weigh just under 16.5 pounds, we can have our cake and eat it too. With either the General or Conti 255/50/18s, the wheel and tire combo would be 50.5 pounds. Equal to the OE 16s with GYs or lighter than the OEs and Duelers.

And they 18s will clear the parts bin MDX SH-AWD bigger brakes.
