Default TPMS in Spare

Question - Lets say I get a wheel assy w/TPMS for a spare. Having 5 tpms sensors. If one of my 4 tires mounted on the vehicle went down would the TPMS light go on?

Yes, because it doesn't read the sensor in the spare.

I hope so - but I've heard of other vehicles where they put all the sensors in the spare or other tire so they can run non TPMS rims without the light coming on.

Another question - if I get a rim without the sensor can a reg valve stem fit where the TPMS goes? Thank You

Wheels when equipped with a matched TPMS will register at each of the 4 hubs when so mounted on the matched TPMS vehicle. You can put 10 other Honda TPMS equipped wheels IN the vehicle and they will not register on a Honda. Any hub mounted wheel without a TPMS or a the wrong type (mismatched) TPMS should read as a low tire.

A correct size regular valve stem will fit in a TPMS style wheel.
