Default New Cooper CTS 245/70/16 tires.

New to the site but wanted to post the new tires. I was researching tires and settled with Cooper CTS 245/70/16. The 245's fit great on the Pilot. Only had them a few weeks now, but WOW...what a difference from OEM Goodyears. I did not find many reviews on the CTS tires, but took a chance and they are great. Paid $85/tire out the door shipped to my house (after Cooper rebate). Then had to get mounted and balanced at local shop. Overall excellent tire for the price.

The best way to see pics of tread would be to go to coopertires.com. As for the ride, I think it is superior to the original Goodyear Integrity's. The tires are @38psi of 44 max and they are very quiet and absorb alot of bumps without feeling them. 70,000 tread life + quiet ride + cheap price = makes me happy. Don't know what elso to say other then they seem to be a great tire for the price. Time will tell.

Just to add, got the tires from Treadepot.com. I've bought several sets of tires from them with excellent customer service and they seem to be the best price I've found.(use special promo's + rebates)

How did you settle on 38psi?

Looks great!

Welcome to p.org....

I have 245/70 General Grabber UHPs on my Pilot. Great tire also, just noisy. Really noisy. Did I mention how noisy they are?

It's 'almost' worth paying $340 for 4 of the Coopers to replace the Generals. I'm not to keen on paying $600+ for Michelins or Goodyears. But, in all fairness to the higher end tire advocates, you get what you pay for.... usually

Although you just got the tires can you post back pictures of the threading in say another 10k and 20k? Also a macro picture of the tire-wall?

I know last one is just petty but is it just me or everyone else buys their tire depending on how it looks? (dont get kumhos ever )
