hey all:
I am a new but eager member out here, after I bought a 2007 Pilot last month. Pilot has real nice looks and drive smooth, but I have a situation with the Wheel Locks! I checked a few days after the purchase, key was missing and called the previous owner, they had no clue and did not seemed to have any re-collection what-so-ever. ![]() I have seen some sites selling accessories online - but what I need is the Key to the locks on my car. I am willing to replace with an entire new set - but first - if I can only get the key to unlock these ones before I have a flat tire (and I'll be really out of air) Any suggestions where I can start? Thanks in advance, Kul Dallas, Tx |

My local Honda service dept. told me once that they had master keys to get any of those off. So if you are talking about the ones Honda sells, I would start with your local dealer and see what they say.

@AcuraDude - I did a through check for the key in the car. Rear space, glove compartment, seats .. etc wherever I could reach.
@CAjack42 - I guess I'll have to go to the dealer after all or maybe a accesories shop. Thanks for you input though. Regards, Kul |

Check with a local tire shop. They should have a wheel lock removal tool - basically a special socket that bites into the lugnut and allows you to remove it with an impact wrench.
Otherwise contact McGard directly to see if they can help you get a key without the registration card. http://mcgard.com/Home/About/CustomerService

I've used a regular socket to do this before. Hammer or tap it on snugly and use and air gun or a breaker bar for removal.
Caution, if not a quality socket, it may split.
