Default Pilot Wheels lock bolts

hey all:
I am a new but eager member out here, after I bought a 2007 Pilot last month.

Pilot has real nice looks and drive smooth, but I have a situation with the Wheel Locks!
I checked a few days after the purchase, key was missing and called the previous owner, they had no clue and did not seemed to have any re-collection what-so-ever.
I have seen some sites selling accessories online - but what I need is the Key to the locks on my car. I am willing to replace with an entire new set - but first - if I can only get the key to unlock these ones before I have a flat tire (and I'll be really out of air)

Any suggestions where I can start?
Thanks in advance,

Kul

Try checking in the glove box or in the spare tire area for the wheel lock key. Otherwise, you might go to your local tire store to see if they can get it removed.

My local Honda service dept. told me once that they had master keys to get any of those off. So if you are talking about the ones Honda sells, I would start with your local dealer and see what they say.

@AcuraDude - I did a through check for the key in the car. Rear space, glove compartment, seats .. etc wherever I could reach.

@CAjack42 - I guess I'll have to go to the dealer after all or maybe a accesories shop.

Thanks for you input though.

Regards,
Kul

Try the jack storage area. It's on the left side near the rear. Sometimes the key is kept there.

Check with a local tire shop. They should have a wheel lock removal tool - basically a special socket that bites into the lugnut and allows you to remove it with an impact wrench.

Otherwise contact McGard directly to see if they can help you get a key without the registration card.

I've used a regular socket to do this before. Hammer or tap it on snugly and use and air gun or a breaker bar for removal.

Caution, if not a quality socket, it may split.
