Hello! Haven't posted here in a looong time. It's finally time to get rid of the OEM Goodyears (yay). Back when I bought my 06 Pilot, I assumed I'd be buying the Michelin Cross Terrains, but now those have been discontinued? So I need to find out about the Latitude Tour. I'm looking for quiet and comfortable more than sporty or offroading. Rain is a big issue (those Goodyears are horrible at hydroplaning
) but snow is rare. So, is the Latitude Tour my best choice, or something else?

I'll jump in....
tracy... I just replaced the OEM tires on my 06 Pilot. I was absolutley going to buy the Lats... and that may well be the next tire I buy. There is plenty of great Pilot experience with the Lat. And I'm a Michelin fan from way back. My Suburban rides on the Michelin MTX through ranch country, highway, city potholes, rivers, and DQ drive-throughs.... But in this case, because of a $100 current Bridgestone rebate special, available recommendations from other users, and my interest to try something new, I went with the Bridgestone Dueler H/L ALENZAS. I have about 1000 miles, 1 huge rainstorm, and 1 200 mile trip hauling 300 lbs of cargo on the Alenzas. They are riding on the stock Pilot alloy wheels with the stock size of 235/70/16. My first impression of these are quite favorable. Everything I like about Michelins is here in the first few miles. The traction is secure and predictable. The ride is comfortable. I "feel" the tires grab the road upon acceleration; like the old tiger paw commercials. Much less wheel hop than the OEM tires.... The suspension feels better... After 6,000 miles and the first rotation, I'll have more to write. In summary, I think the Lats are a sure winner. And the Alenzas are an option to consider... Good Luck! Cotton

Just got rid of the OEM Dueler, and installed Latitude Tour last week, couldn't be happier. Quiet, ComfortableRide Quality, stable and secure highway handling, great braking traction (feels like 2 times shorter distance than the Deuler), seems to have longest thread life in its class.

I just bought the Alenzas this morning. Went into Discount Tire with the plan to get either the LTX MS2 or Latitude Tours, but went with the Alenzas because of the Mail in Rebate and $20 cheaper per tire.
On the ride home they were noticeably quieter and smoother than the OEM Goodyears, so I am pleased. I will post more once I see how they perform long term. As a point of reference: I paid $787 before sales tax for everything (tires, TPMS fee, disposal, replacement certs, lifetime rotation and balance). Now I send in the mail in rebate for another $100. Another point of reference: we had 55, 565 miles on the OEM Integrity tires, with tread left for another 5-6k miles (much to the salesman's surprise).

I went with the Lattitude Tours from the previous Bridgestone Alenza's for dry traction, ride comfort, tread life and noise reduction.
Both are good tires. Determine what is your priorities and start here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ireSearch=true |

I replaced my Cross Terrains (they're being discontinued) after 70k miles with Latitude Tours from Costco. I couldn't be more pleased with how they ride.

One thing I found out is that to get the best ride comfort, you have to put proper tire pressure. I used to put 38 psi in the OEM dueler to avoid the uneven tire wear issue from it. But that pressure in Tour makes the ride terribly bumpy on local city roads. I changed to 32-35, and the ride comfort changed back to what Tour is supposed to be.
