Question full size spare tire

I have a 2003 HP. I have come into a full size spare tire (long story how that happened). My orginal mini spare tire was mounted under the vehicle. I was doing some measuring to see if a full size spare tire can fill in that same spot. I need a diameter of about 28inches but I only have 26inches. Does anyone have a full size spare tire on their HP?

Quite a few of us do, like myself. You'll have no problems with fitment. That is where the full-size flat would go if you had to use the donut spare.

You have a point there but I have never had a flat until now. If it does fit I don't think the cable pulling & holding the tire up will be running vertically. Or to get the cable to run vertical the tire will not be flush against the vehicle body.

It will fit and everything will be a-ok. You are thinking about this way too much LOL. Keep the faith and get a full size spare, no problemo!

i also have a full size spare with no fitment issues. it won't be completely hidden like the donut, but not a big deal.
