Default MDX Tires on a 09 Pilot w/18s?

Just curious if the 255/55/18 found on the MDX would work OK with am 09 Pilot with 18" rims. Checked the tire calculator at 1010tires and here is what I came up:

Stock 245/65/17 = Circumference of 92.77", Diameter of 29.53"
255/55/18 = Circumference of 91.23", Diameter of 29.04"

You sure.

I heard that putting MDX tires on caused you to need premium gas, and Zaino wax.

Some even claim it will refuse to start unless you are wearing Topsiders without socks!

Here are the rims...ended up buying rims without tires, then buying new tires.

Do you think $1200 Canadian is worth the set brand new takeoffs for the MDX wheels and stock tires?

This converts to about $1100 USD. Assuming the price includes shipping, this would be a good deal for MDX Tech Rims and a great deal on MDX Sport Rims.
