Does anyone know the size of the o-ring that serves as the seal for the TPMS. I have new tires and access to a mounting machine and a tire balancer. The seal kit seams to be an o-ring, valve core and valve stem cap. I would rather not spend $5 for a $.25 o-ring. Of course the other option is to not replace the seal, I would be ok with that too. Should I find the information elsewhere, I will post it.

The TPMS is made for Honda by Schrader USA. Judgeing from their web site, they make sensors for most automobiles. They have about 15 videos for training. The service pack for Honda Pilot, 07, is 20036. They show how to bust and mount a tire, sensor replacement, relearning tools or how to use the car computer to relearn.
Next is to find a good price on the service pack. Their is a vendor advertizing on this site that sells a non OEM kit. After seeing the Schrader info, the seal is a gromit, I would have confidence in an after market kit or I can go the the same hardware store honda uses. Check www.schrader-bridgeport.com |

Purchased 4 TPMS kits from sears for $6.99 ea. Available on the internet for $4.05 ea. Got a handfull of FN coated tire weights from the local garage. With access to a tire busted and balancer, mounted the tires, (4) Latitude tours. Love the quite ride. Used a process for match mounting the tires on the wheel. Run it through the balancer, shift the tire 90 deg and run it again. It will tell you how to best posistion the tire on the rim. Good news, the marks on the tires aligned with the valve stem generally matched the balancer marked spot.
All for a good balance job. |

I had 5 Lattitudes mounted about 10 days ago. Only 1 tire had a red dot. No marks on the other 4. I went to a shop that had a Hunter 9700 and the ride is very smooth.
