We have an '06 Pilot and our original tires are shot. We're very happy with our snow tires (Blizzak's) but we're looking for a really solid fair weather tire.
Our priorities (which I realize are somewhat contradictory) are: - handling (lots of curvy roads in our area) - mileage (planning to take a couple road trips this summer) - road noise (I already find our Pilot poorly insulated from road noise & I'd hate to make things worse) So... ignoring cost at this point, and looks (I'm a function over fashion type), what top 3 tires would people suggest we consider? Any ideas, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

Helpful way to find tires by answering a few short Qs about how and where you drive. Below are tires for Light Truck and SUV Street/Sport Truck ........ (summer or all-season) Handling / Looks / Low-profile / Large rim / Good traction & handling Highway Rib ........ (sumemr only) Straight rib for highway / Good wear / Low noise, traction on dry & wet road. Highway All-season Very good on-road performance / Traction on gravel road, sand & moderate snow. On/Off-road All-errain Much capability off-road & on-road / Goof for dirt, sand, gravel & snow. Off-road Max-traction Bite into loose, muddy surface for max-tarction / newest design are more refined for highway travel also

No - I didn't claim the warranty. I definitely should have, but used a different shop for the 2nd set of tires and didn't even think to check the warranty.
