Default 17" CR-V alloys for my 04 Pilot?

I have an opportunity to purchase some brand new 17" alloys from a 2008 CR-V and I already have the Michelin tires in my shed to mount on them.
I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with fitment of these wheels on the Pilot? The numbers all match up in terms of bolt pattern, vehicle offset, center bore, and stud size. The only number that does not match up exactly is the wheel offset, which shows as 50mm for the CR-V rims and I believe that it is 45mm on my factory 16" wheels for the Pilot.
Any thoughts on whether this might cause a problem? Thanks!

As a "lurker" on this great site for a few years, I am shocked that my question has left everyone speechless! 40-some views and all I am hearing are crickets chirping! Anyway, I went ahead and mounted up some 245/65R17 Michelin M+S's on some '08 CR-V alloys and put them on my 2004 Pilot. So far, so good. The +50mm offset puts the inner edge of the front tires slightly closer to the strut tower, but there is still clearance there so I am not too worried about it. No problems with caliper clearance either, which also concerned me a bit prior to the install. The larger tires & wheels make for a nice looking upgrade. I will post some pictures when I get a chance.

I was also thinking of purchasing these wheels for my 05.Is the 245/65 series tires the same ride height as the stock 16" with 235/70?

The setup with the 245/65R17s is a half inch taller in overall diameter than the stock 235/70R16s.

I found a great site with a side-by-side comparison chart that you can plug in your different wheel & tire combinations, including offsets and view the dimensional differences:

Since there is difference in diameter,is your speedometer and odometer off?

Yes,
There will be a slight difference in speedometer and odometer, but I think it is almost negligible.
When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 61.1mph (98.4km/h): 1.8% faster.
From other research that I have done, you can often find speedo errors greater than that right from the factory.
