Hi all:
I have a 2006 Pilot EX-L with 24000 miles on it. I've had it a week (my previous vehicle was a 1998 GMC 4WD truck with 185000 miles on it). It has a brand new set of Goodyear Integrity tires on it, and I'm wondering if this is just normal or am I "picking the fly poop out of the pepper" ?? I hear the normal tire buzz on the highway. At slow speeds (i.e. 20-25 mph), when making a turn (i.e. onto another street), I hear a mild rough sound -- it's not pronounced, but it's there. Maybe it's tire scrub, I'm not sure. The Honda dealer thought it could be brakes ? When going straight on the same road at 20-25 mph I don't hear it. Any replies appreciated -- I'm wondering if I should chase it down with the dealer or if it is normal ? Thx.
