Default New Latitude Tour's

Ordered a set of Latitude Tour's from Sam's Club in 245/70/16 for my '06 Pilot and had them installed this evening. They were $106.74 each plus all the charges. Out the door price was just under $520 for the set. They are catalog #461166 & have the ORWL's, which I had turned in. The blackwalls in 235 are about $117 and about $164 in245's. ORWL's in 235 were $158. Their pricing structure doesn't make much sense, but I wanted to upsize to correct my odomoter error and am really pleased to pick these up for this price. They are 106T load rated. Will check back in with some pics of the tires vs a CT in 235 and their exclusive X Radial LT's in 235 that I took with my cell phone. The first 8 miles on them were pretty smooth.

Pic's as promised:

The 245 Latitude makes the 235 CT look a little small. They definitely go a long ways in filling the wheel wells compared to the Integrity's that were on it. I got 44.5k out of them and I've been wanting to get something different for a lon time. Hopefully, these will turn out to be a good choice. If anyone wants them, I'll get some pics up of them on the vehicle in the next few days.

Nice Pics.

I just installed the Latitude Tour on 17 inch rim.

They are 255/60/17. Here is a picture beside the stock tire.

I haven't driven on them yet, maybe this week end I'll try them out.

Tires and rim setup are very smooth and the handling is great. Thanks to all the information on this site I am very happy with my Pilot.

Once I get a nice day to wash it, I'll snap some shots.

I am in the market for some replacements on my 2006. I have over 50K miles on the OEM Integrity's. I was looking at the Latitude Tour's as a replacement. They are kind of pricey, but if I could get them for $110 plus fees, that is not too bad.

Is everyone getting their TPMs reconditioned?

Got a set of Michelin Latitude Tour(235/70) last week from TireRack.com at $113 per tire + shipping,no tax.
As of today they want $116 per tire + shipping.
As for the TPMS, the tire shop charged me extra $20 for TPMS service for all 4. Don't know exactly what they did with them but everything seems to be fine.

TPMS should have the seal replaced between it and the rim. Thats all it needs. One day I suppose the battery will wear out......

Placed my order with Tire Rack today.

(4) P245/70R-16 OWL Michelin Latitude Tour (In Stock) @ $109.00 ea, $436.00 Total.

Plus - they are giving a $60 Michelin “Ride of Your Life” Visa® Prepaid Card. This helps offset shipping.

I suspect with a 720 treadwear rating these should last a long time. Here is the link to the site.

Here is a link to a good tool for comparing alternate tire sizes.
http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

The diameter difference between this size and stock is 1.87%.

I've driven on the latitudes for about a month now, and I'll I can say is incredible. I'm not sure if it is the size increase or the actual tire, but the handeling is amazing.

Cornering at high speeds, it sticks tot he road. And road noice is very quiet.

I am a very happy Michelin customer!

I'll be replacing my Cross Terrains (255/60/17) pretty soon. I'm considering replacing them with the Latitude Tour. My local tire dealer has only the Latitude Tour HP in stock. It's pricier than the regular Latitude Tour. I was wondering what the difference was. Seems like Tirerack tire reviews has more satisfied users with the regular Latitude Tour as compared to the Latitude Tour HP.

Been driving the Latitude Tours in the larger size (P245/70R-16) for a while now. They are much smoother and quieter than the Bridgstone Alenza's I took off that lasted about 40K before they got so loud I decided to change them. The car seems to handle well in both wet and dry. The steering is slightly less sharp than it was with the worn Bridgstones. The larger size has significantly helped ride quality. According to my GPS, the speedometer is closer to being accurate now than with the oem size. I like the way the tires fill out the wheels, less minivan looking. These are nice street tires. Cannot comment on off road or snow, but the tread pattern looks like it was designed as highway cruiser. The 2004 pilot has a 6.5" wide wheel, this size is suitable, noticably wider and I won't have to worry about the wife rubbing the wheels on curbs! Here is a good site to compare sizes.

I decided to go with the Alenzas, bought them this morning. Went into Discount Tire with the plan to get either the LTX MS2 or Latitude Tours, but went with the Alenzas because of the Mail in Rebate and $20 cheaper per tire.

On the ride home they were noticeably quieter and smoother than the OEM Goodyears, so I am pleased. I will post more once I see how they perform long term.

As a point of reference: I paid $787 before sales tax for everything (tires, TPMS fee, disposal, replacement certs, lifetime rotation and balance). Now I send in the mail in rebate for another $100.

Another point of reference: we had 55, 565 miles on the OEM Integrity tires, with tread left for another 5-6k miles (much to the salesman's surprise).

Default Current Latitude pricing

I see that posters paid <$120 for Michelin Latitude Tours earlier this year. Today, TireRack is $152, Sam's Club is $161 and Costco is $166 (all before any shipping, installation, fees, taxes, etc.) for 235/70R16. Are we talking about the same tire? I realize that some posters bought a different size (larger - shouldn't that cost MORE?) Please help me understand what I am missing here. Thanks.
