That is huge...what tire size are you riding on? How's the ride comfort? I bet it's pretty awful.

I'm guessing somethin' like275/30/24?

I personally have some 215/35/18 on my Nissan 240SX and it rides like crap, but I only put about 2000 miles per year on it.

BTW- the distance from the ground to the bottom of the rim is 1.25".

Yup, the tire ( on this particular rim ) is only one and a quarter inches tall, all the way around. Been on the car for about 4 1/2 years with no bent rims at all.

yeah the ride is stiffer than stock rims, but its not as bad as you think it is. Im speaking from experience...ive had cars slammed and bagged. My civic is also on 215/35/18s, its bouncy because it has a 2" drop. I was originally going to buy 20s for the pilot but i think it looks kinda dumb and small, so i had a choice of 22s or 24s, so i wanted to stand out from the rest of the pilot owners and slaped on some 24's

uNik,

I couldn't find some pics I really wanted to show my wheel when I posted the one above. Since the tire/wheel install, I lowered the 240 2 inches and put some drilled/slotted disc brakes on.

Still not as low as I want to go, but to be honest, I have a bunch of toys and have to be careful as to what I start spending $$ on.....

What size are those tires on your P?
