I donr know how old most of you are but I really like OLD SCHOOL METAL, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and the like.

Below is information concerning the upcoming series of concerts by the 24 voice professional chorus to which I belong, and since a couple of the first few posters in this thread are from the area I thought it might be okay to post it here. Anyone in the Chicago area who enjoys good choral music in any style is encouraged to come! The LAKESIDE SINGERS PRESENT- SPRING KALEIDOSCOPE The Lakeside Singers' Spring 2004 concert features music by Henry Purcell, Benjamin Britten, Camile Saint-Saens, contemporary composers Eric Whitacre and Chen Yi, music from the movies "O Brother Where Art Thou" and "Jungle Book, " gospel and pop numbers by Stevie Wonder, Olivia Newton John, the pop songwriting team of Brian Holland/Lamont Dozier/Edward Holland Jr. and the Clancy Brothers. A dazzling, virtuoso performance of music "from renaissance to rock" as only the Lakeside Singers can sing it!
