new cd stadium arcadium is out and rly good. their style has changed but i like it.

How has their style changed? I liked them as they were but it sounds like the new sound is satisfactory from what you guys have said thus far.

Yeah, I tend to agree with that. As a lifelong funk fan
I like what they've been doing. I think they do it well. I'll have to check out their latest, thanks.

Just got back from the RHCP concert here in their hometown of Los Angeles. All I can say is WOW! Flea was off the hook as usual and the guitarist, John Frusciante, was very impressive I must say. I would have to rate his capabilities up there with The Edge, Eddie Van Halen, Santanta, Satriani, Jeff Beck etc. It was just freaking incredible to hear this guy play. It lasted about 2 hours including 1 encore and they played a couple songs twice from their new album, I can't quite remember which ones exactly though. Mars Volta opened for them, but I got there after they performed. All in all it was a great time had by all. Oh yeah, almost forgot about this... once the house lights went down, the smell of ganja was all around.
