Default Home Page News

Announcement: I've created a new forum called "Home Page News". In essence, this allows members to post news worthy bits of information that, once approved by our moderators, will automatically appear on the home page. So, to post a news bit, just create a new thread.

For example, this post appears on the home page, as well as in the forums. Try it out!

your admin.

Just 1 moderator is good enough. However, we need to make sure that the format of the news items are consisten. Eventually, I'd like this to be similar to http://www.slashdot.org/. They are mostly short blurps referencing an external article.

Can we get a home page that doesn't ask for an MDX picture?

It's a trick question because we'll never know: the bulb never needs changing 'cause the light never comes on for any of the Moderators -- we're always in the dark...
