Default 8 months and no posting!!!!!

C'mon FL piloteers. I know there are tons of you out there because I see 5-6 on every drive I go on. Now I know i'm not so dense to think that every one of them is on this website, but damn 8 months with nobody posting jack. That's not cool. I'm just as much to blame I guess. We should set up a family day at Markham Park. Sort of a meet & greet.

FLPilot tried to arrange a meet a while back but it fizzled. Where is Markham Park?

It's way down here in South Florida. If enough people were interested we would have to move the meeting place somewhere mid-state so it would be equal distance for everyone.

Hey roro, sorry for the no posting in "Florida" section, but as florida_guy pointed out I tried and it seemed like not many were interested in the meet. I am game for a meet anywhere from S. Florida to Central Florida. Markham Park is great during the week, but I am not sure what it's like on weekends. Even when I used to take the waverunner out on weekends there, the lake is away from the picnic areas so I never saw how busy it got.

Let me know if you want to do this and I will help anyway I can again. I think a little cook out would be cool. Especially before it get really hot.

Did't get a chance to officially welcome you to the club in my last post so WELCOME to the family!

Hey if we can't get a big group then just a few of us would be just great. My only problem is that I am working my off in overtime trying to pay for a wedding in December. So I would rather plan for something in advance rather than last minute. I am sure we can get a couple of us local guys, a local gal (Alexandra), and I am sure florida_guy would try his hardest to make a meet happen.

Default NAVI

I'm looking at adding the Magellan Roadmate 700 (approx $1100) to my Pilot. I didn;t want to pay ther $2k for the installed GPS....with the portable unit I can use it between business trips, my pilot and my wife's car.

Anyone using the Magellan Roadmate 700?

I picked up my 2004 Honda Pilot EX-L Sage Brush Pearl from Duval Honda (jacksonville, FL) last evening 6/16/04. I added the following accessories: Crossbar, rear mud flaps, Fahrenheit 100 DVD w/ TV tuner, inverter & jackbox, 4 headsets, fenderwell trim (looks great-- it should be a honda accessory but had to find an aftermarket brand), door edge guards (looks great and will keep dings from happening on door trim -- had to find aftermarket -- should be a standard honda accessory), cargo tray, cargo organizer, & 6 disc cd changer. My price was approx $33,100 with all accessories installed. I had to wait over 2 weeks for everything so I asked for 2 free oil changes and a honda front window sun shade (and they gave it to me).

Congrats, Timbersan, on the purchase of your very-well-outfitted beauty of a Pilot. Owning a new Pilot is a GREAT feeling, isn't it? Nice that the dealer threw in the extras for your having to wait (never have managed to get "extras" like that myself). I'll beat jay to the punch by saying:

Congrats! Looks like now all you need is satellite radio. I'm partial to XM.
