Default Steven Wright's Wit

Seems like Steven Wright is becoming the master of one (or two) liners. I mean, how can you beat such thought-provoking questions as:

Why isn't the word, 'phonetically' spelled with an 'f'?

Kemo --a big Steven Wright fan--should especially enjoy this site (I wouldn't be surprised if he's already acquainted with it!)

When I had Erols as my ISP, my web site had a whole page of Steven Wright jokes that I had collected over the years... Ever since I saw him live (as opposed to dead) at a performance at the U.S. Naval Academy, I was hooked!!!

I remember this one from when I was a kid, and I don't know why it sticks with me:

"So I bought some powdered water...but I didn't know what to add"

Default George Carlin

Another great comedian (IMHO) that delivers funny one-liners is George Carlin...

...for example: If the #2 pencil is the most popular, then why is it still #2?
