Very true colorider, although I don't have any little ones of my own as of yet. Maybe someday some poor lady will marry me (God help her) and I will be able to experience the joys of babies blowing bubbles in the bath tub.

Sorry for the repost SteveLuman. For some reason anytime I search for a thread, unless it is recent, I get a bunch of other threads that have nothing to do with what I was looking for. Again sorry for subjecting you to this again.

Well, mine are both grown and long gone and I have 4 g-kids. To be honest I don't remember either of my 2 every dropping a babe ruth in the tub!! Lucky I guess!! No telling what their kids have done after some of the stories I have heard!!!

Did you get your SPIII?

Yeah I sure did, I wrote up this big thing about all the great things about it and some of the few things I didn't like about it I guess maybe a week ago. Of course when I sent it, the computer froze up and it would let my post go through. Needless to say, I lost the entire post and I was frustrated so I never posted to it again.

I love it! Although being that my job is driving around most of the day, I don't get lost around here. But I do like it because you can look up places to eat that are close to you and little things like that. Plus I will be driving up to Ohio in August for a wedding. It should come in handy while up there since I don't know my way around there. Thanks again for the info.

Neat!! I would still like one just for Pilot. I use my GPSIII+ all the time when I travel on the motorcycle. We used it for our recent trip to SC, but the display is just a bit small for in a vehicle.

I'm headed off for a fairly long motorcycle trip the end of next month and I will use it extensively. The trip will be somewhere around 4K miles round trip!!

Wow...that is a lot of miles, especially on a motorcycle. Oh yeah the only draw back to the SPIII is that there is a voice telling you what to do. So your thinking what could be so bad, well it is a female telling you what to do. Maybe that's not such a bad thing since its us guys always getting lost.

It will be very close to my longest trip - perhaps longer, depending on what side trips I take.

You should be able to turn it off. Course, it doesn't always work that way in real life either!!!!
