Default Feeling Old? Let's Put Things in Perspective!

The people who are starting college this fall across the nation were born in 1983. They are too young to remember the space shuttle Challenger blowing up.

Their lifetime has always included AIDS.

Bottle caps have always been screw off and plastic.

The CD was introduced the year they were born.

They have always had an answering machine.

They have always had cable.

They cannot fathom not having a remote control.

Jay Leno has always been on the Tonight Show.

Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave.

They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

They can't imagine what hard contact lenses are.

They don't know who Mork was or where he was from.

They never heard: "Where's the Beef?", "I'd walk a mile for a Camel", or "de plane Boss, de plane".

They do not care who shot J. R. and have no idea who J. R. even is.

McDonald's never came in Styrofoam containers.

They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

Do you feel old yet? No? Then check out how muhc 30 Years difference can make:

I have the original email with cartoons, it is even better than the text below. Email me if you want a copy. It has animation so I was not sure how to get it in here.

WHAT IS OLD?????

CATCH THE LITTLE GUY AT THE END!!

"OLD" IS WHEN..... Your sweetie says, "Let's go upstairs and make love," and you answer, "Pick one, I can't do both!"

"OLD" IS WHEN.. Your friends compliment you on
your new alligator shoes and you're barefoot.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... A sexy babe catches your eye and
your pacemaker opens the garage door.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... Going bra-less pulls all the wrinkles out of your face.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... You don't care where your spouse
goes, just as long as you don't have to go along.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... You are cautioned to slow down by
the doctor instead of by the police.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... "Getting a little action" means I
don't need to take any fiber today.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... "Getting lucky" means you find
your car in the parking lot.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... An "all-nighter" means not getting up to pee.
