Default Caddy SRX anyone?

I've been looking at an SRX. I know you're thinking I should go sleep it off.

Consider the specs:

Available with 3 rows of seating.
320 HP Northstar V8.
*NOT* a reskinned GM Blazer/GMC Jimmy but instead based on a sport sedan (try finding any xover with 3 rows of seats that is based on sport sedan).
Used versions can be had for far less than a new Pilot.
Did I mention a 320 HP Northstar V8?
Handles real well.

Ok - now for the bad:

It's a GM product.
Made in Mexico.
It's a GM product.
Looks like a tall wagon (that doesn't bother me that much).
It's a GM product.

Let the flaming begin...

Hhmmm Since gasoline has been steady, I'll say go for it.
And since you can have it for less than the Pilot, that means when the first one brakes you have enough money for the second one or third..

Doesn't the SRX have reliability ratings that are among the worst for the usually poor GM?

Granted. Reliability ratings are in the toilet - especially with the V6 version. That's what happens when you let your accountants do the engineering.
