Default Pulled the trigger ...

... on a CRV in Urban Titanium Metallic instead of the Pilot yesterday. It was a tough decision for us. But in the end, even though we love everything about the Pilot, especially the Touring variant, it made more sense for us to go with the smaller Honda. It would've been nice to have the extra space for those few times it could have come in handy. Many thanks for the entertaining informative posts which aided us in finalizing our decision.
Among the factors influencing us away from the Pilot: Resale (it drops in value pretty quick), MPG (too many inconsistent reports; and I understand it is solely driver dependent), Increased cost of ownership (gas is going back up despite price per barrel in the 30/40 range.

Best of luck to all Pilot owners!

BTW ... the Pilot would look great in that Urban Titanium Metallic; very upscale looking color!

I feel you will be more than happy with your decision, but that is not to take anything away from the Pilot. We loved out Pilot for the 2 1/2 years of ownership, but at this stage in our life and our lifestyle, the CR-v makes more sense FOR US. I love the Urban Titanium Metallic and it will most likely by color of choice when we trade again.

Good Luck!!

EX-L 2wd ...wanted the NAV ... but I tested it.... and it's not as good as the Pilot's, nor the Acura's! Will get an after market one.
